About Brad Delk

Brad Delk’s conceptual paintings enter his conscious thought as completed pieces. The unique vision of his paintings create a subtle conflict of ideas, serving both humorous whimsy and serious thought. Brad first paints his background using acrylic paint on canvas. Then using models, props and photos for reference, he paints the conceptual aspects of the art piece in oils.

Brad’s art career started with commissioned portraits in pencil, gradually moving into watercolor. His current canvases are in acrylic and oil. After traveling extensively throughout the South Pacific and Europe, Brad enjoys raising his family on California’s Central Coast.
